098 \How to walk around Bawa's architecture/

On November 16th, the second "A Walk Through the Architecture of Bawa, Master of Tropical Modernism" event was held at the Sri Lankan restaurant Bandara Lanka in Yotsuya 3-chome.
The first session was fully booked within a day of being announced, and this time it was held in the same manner, taking requests, so it was worth all the hard work I put into creating the slides.
At one point, I showed the visitors my Ena de Silva batik collection, and they all picked them up curiously.
I think it's good that we have content like this that can be seen and touched at real events rather than online events.
At the social gathering in the second half of the event, we enjoyed Bandara Lankan tea and sweets while watching a video of architect Yamamoto's trip to Sri Lanka this year.
What made me happy was that at the end of the event, several people donated books to Architecture Book Bridge, and it was wonderful to be able to interact directly with the people who support our activities at each event.
I'd love to do it again if I have the chance!
